We left the campsite on Normoutier around 12.30pm and drove
south to St Emilion where we arrived around 6pm to a nice clean, air
conditioned hotel with an ensuite bathroom with a bath! I can’t tell you how much luxury this is
after 10 nights of camping!
We had a bit
of a wander around St Emilion then had a really lovely dinner at a nearby
restaurant called Lard et Bouchon, of course washed down with a nice bottle of
St. Emilion wine.
