Moving day! We got up
fairly early today and packed everything up into the car to move on to the next
campsite on the Island of Noirmoutier.
It was about a 350km drive so we allowed plenty of time.
We stopped in Vannes for a nice lunch, and
this was a good reminder of our trip to Brittany seven years ago (our first
French camping trip).
Traffic onto
Noirmoutier got very heavy and it took quite a while to get to the campsite,
eventually arriving around 6.30pm. We
got to our pitch and put the tent up then had dinner at a lovely bar on the
campsite about 25 metres from our tent with lovely views across the sea to the
mainland. A really beautiful campsite!
