We started the day with breakfast at the hotel then continued
our exploring of St. Emilion. We joined
a tour of underground St. Emilion as that was the only way to access the church
carved out of rocks and the alleged hermit-home of St. Emilion in his last
years of life. We climbed the Tour du
Roi and took some nice pictures of St. Emilion and then had lunch in a little
place called Pizzeria du Vieux Lavoir.
After lunch we rejoined the card and drove on to our next campsite,
Arnachouout near the little town of Léon just north of Biarritz and
Bayonne. We had dinner at the campsite
pizzeria.
