We had a fairly slow start and after breakfast went to Le Puy Sainte Réparade and wandered around the town and bought some postcards. We had lunch at Café Crème then got into the car and drove on to the Abbaye de Silvacane. It had a good audioguide and we learned a lot about the life of the monks who lived there.
Following that we visited La Tour d’Aigues. We looked at a ruined chateau that looks like it’s used as a concert venue today. We walked around the mediaeval village and picked up some food in Pertuis (including the traditional Poulet roti) which we ate back at the campsite by our tent.
